Rules for Using Hirepie

These terms explain your rights and responsibilities when using Hirepie.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Hirepie ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Hirecamp Platforms Limited ("Company", "we", "us").

2. Description of Service

2.1 Core Services

Hirepie provides:

  • CV/Resume formatting and optimization
  • AI-powered document processing
  • CV sharing and collaboration tools
  • Job matching capabilities (for recruiters)

2.2 Service Tiers

  • Free: Limited features with usage restrictions
  • Lite: Smart tools for recruiters with extended limits
  • Business: Full features for hiring at scale
  • Enterprise: Custom limits and dedicated support

3. User Accounts & Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use the Service, you must:

  • Provide accurate registration information
  • Be at least 16 years old (or older if required by local law)
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • All activity under your account
  • Keeping login credentials secure
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws
  • Maintaining accurate contact information

3.3 Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Extended periods of inactivity (with notice)
  • Non-payment (for paid tiers)

4. Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 Permitted Uses

You may use the Service to:

  • Create, edit, and share your own CVs
  • Process documents you own or have permission to process
  • Collaborate with authorized team members
  • Export your data in supported formats

4.2 Prohibited Uses

You may NOT:

  • Upload content you don't own or have rights to
  • Process documents containing illegal content
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures
  • Use the Service for automated data harvesting
  • Share accounts or credentials
  • Resell access without authorization
  • Interfere with Service operations
  • Upload malware or malicious content

4.3 Content Guidelines

Uploaded content must not contain:

  • Personally identifiable information of others without consent
  • Discriminatory or offensive material
  • Malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Content that violates applicable laws

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Company IP

The Service, including its software and source code, user interface design, logos and branding, and documentation, are owned by Hirecamp Platforms Limited and protected by intellectual property laws.

5.2 User License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purposes during your subscription period.

5.3 Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide may be used by us without obligation to you.

6. User Content (CV Ownership)

6.1 Your Content, Your Rights

You retain all ownership rights to:

  • CVs and documents you upload
  • Personal information you provide
  • Content you create using the Service

6.2 License to Us

By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content, display content back to you, create formatted versions as requested, and provide the Service as described. This license terminates when you delete your content or account.

6.3 Content Backup

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your original documents. While we implement reasonable backup measures, we are not liable for data loss.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

7.1 AI Processing

The Service uses AI to:

  • Extract text from documents (OCR)
  • Format and structure CV content
  • Generate suggestions and improvements
  • Score job matches

7.2 AI Limitations

AI-generated content may contain errors, should be reviewed before use, does not constitute professional advice, and may not capture all nuances of original content.

7.3 User Responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing AI-processed content before sharing, correcting inaccuracies, ensuring final document accuracy, and making final decisions about career materials.

7.4 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that AI processing will improve job prospects, be error-free, meet specific quality standards, or be suitable for any particular purpose.

8. Service Availability & Limitations

8.1 Uptime

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime, uninterrupted access, or error-free operation.

8.2 Maintenance

We may perform scheduled maintenance (with notice when possible), emergency maintenance (without notice if necessary), and updates/improvements.

8.3 Service Changes

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features, change pricing with notice, and update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

9. Termination

9.1 By You

You may request account termination at any time by contacting us at privacy@hirepie.io. Upon termination, your data will be scheduled for deletion with a 30-day grace period and cancellation option.

9.2 By Us

We may terminate your account for terms violations, illegal activity, non-payment, or account inactivity (after notice).

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, data is handled per retention policy, and you may request export before termination.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10.2 Limitation of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HIRECAMP PLATFORMS LIMITED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS OR DATA, OR DAMAGES EXCEEDING FEES PAID IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS.

10.3 Exceptions

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability. In such cases, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hirecamp Platforms Limited from claims arising from your violation of these Terms, your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of third-party rights.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.

12.2 Dispute Process

  1. Informal Resolution: Contact us first to attempt resolution.
  2. Mediation: If unresolved, agree to mediation.
  3. Arbitration/Court: As a last resort, per applicable law.

12.3 Jurisdiction

Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in Ireland.

13. General Provisions

13.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Hirecamp Platforms Limited regarding the Service.

13.2 Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms remains in effect.

13.3 Waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not waive future enforcement.

13.4 Assignment: You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition.
